YOU SHOULD KNOW.

• For the past three years we have had a divided Council.
• Despite the election of some contrary minds last year, there is still a majority that could be called tax and spend, and who consider that raising fees is the option to support this philosophy.
• Over that time, we have lavished money on turning our spec-built building into a state of the art Class A building, spending over $10 million in the effort and with plans to spend as much more. There is an approved budget of $700,000 for audio visuals for several rooms. In December Council voted down my motion to review this.
• We have an annual revenue now of $25 million, (not long ago it was $10 million).
• We have a debt of about $14 million and unfunded liabilities in our benefits package of $6 million.
• In November Council voted down the very reasonable recommendations from our Finance Committee that would have begun to address our debt situation.

YOU STILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO OBTAIN A MORE FISCALLY PRUDENT COUNCIL BY VOTING TO ELECT YOUR OFFICERS AND BY VOTING FOR CANDIDATES LIKE ME THAT WANT PEO TO BE FISCALLY PRUDENT.
